Tiers range from Tier 1 (must have) to Tier 5 (Almost useless or useless).

NOTE: If you DO NOT have Crown Egg, gold generation artifacts in Tiers 2 and 3 will most likely move up a Tier until you obtain it. Then, all artifacts that do not apply to Chestersons will automatically move to Tier 3.

Tier 1

Must Have All of these artifacts will help you in all aspects -- damage, gold, relic increment, and stage reduction. Need these to acquire because they're OP and can advance you a lot.

Tincture of the Maker Tincture of the Maker Infinite +5% DPS (+5%) +10% (+5%) Bonus applies on ALL artifacts depending on their All Damage.
Undead Aura Undead Aura Infinite +5% Bonus Relic from Prestige (+5%) +30% (+15%) One of the most IMPORTANT artifacts you'll NEED in this game.
Worldy Illuminator Worldly Illuminator 5 -100% Monsters Each Stage (-100%) (Max -500%) +300% (+150%) At max level you will have 5 monsters between bosses instead of 10. Max DMG: 900%

Tier 2

Should Have These are artifacts that give you damage, gold, and relic increment. However, their bonuses aren't as needed as tier 1 due to one of the artifact bonuses is not that useful enough to be in tier 1.

Crafter's Elixir Crafter's Elixir Infinite +15% Gold While Playing (+15%) +40% (+20%) High level Crafter's Elixir will increase your gold dropped very sightly, you'll even pass amount of gold of Make It Rain if you kill few Chestersons or many Titans.
Crown Egg Crown Egg Infinite (245)* +20% Treasure Box Chance (+20%) +40% (+20%) * Increases the chances of Chesterson appearing. Default chance is 2%. Crown Egg level 120 will give you a 50% chance, level 245 for 100% chance.
Knight's Shield Knight's Shield Infinite +100% Boss Gold (+100%) +60% (+30%) Essential because the bosses drop only 1.5x of the monster gold. Great thing if you upgrade it to it's higher level.
Ogre's Gauntlet Ogre's Gauntlet Infinite (90)* (190)** +10% Shadow Clone Duration (+10%) +70% (+35%) * Level required to reach permanent Shadow Clones in combination with Overseer's Lotion.
** At level 190 you will get permanent Shadow Clones without the aid of any other artifact.
Overseer's Lotion Overseer's Lotion 10 -5% Shadow Clone Cool Down (-5%) (Max -50%) +70% (+35%) At Max, when combined with Ogre's Guantlet, Shadow Clone will last until the cooldown expires. Allowing "permanent" clones.

Tier 3

Ok to have If you have nothing else to salvage, you should keep them. Bonuses are really good as tier 2 and not bad as tier 4.

Tier 4

Salvage if not needed These artifacts has one useful bonus but they are not good as tier 1-3. This is why we should include them in tier 4.

Parchment of Importance Parchment of Importance Infinite (290)* (590)** +10% Critical Strike Duration (+10%) +70% (+35%) * Level required to reach permanent Critical Strike in combination w/ Sacred Scroll.
** Level required to reach permanent Critical Strike without.
Ring of Opulence Ring of Opulence Infinite (590)* (1190)** +10% Hand of Midas Duration (+10%) +70% (+35%) * Level required to reach permanent Hand of Midas in combination w/ Laborer's Pentant.

Savior Shield Savior Shield 25 +10% Boss Time (+10%) (Max +250%) +30% (+15%) This artifact does NOT increase hero immunity time (5 seconds). Max DMG: 390%
Universal Fissure Universal Fissure Infinite (290)* (590)** +10% War Cry Duration (+10%) +120% (+60%) While arguably one of the worst bonuses, it is by far the highest All Damage % per level without a level cap.
* Level required to reach permanent War Cry in combination with Hunter's Ointment.
** Level required to reach permanent War Cry without the aid of any other artifacts.

Tier 5

Almost useless or useless bonuses. These artifacts needed to salvage because there are not useful enough to keep them in your collection. These artifacts are mostly cooldowns and 2 hero bonuses.
